Syntax

The value is an integer, represented as a character string.

Notes

1. TANDEM inserts a default value for this parameter (4) if it doesn't exist or is set to any value that is interpreted as being < 1

Description

This value is used to limit the highest charge state allowed for a parent ion. If a parent ion charge is greater than this value, the associated spectrum is discarded without further processing.
