This value is a floating point number represented by a character string

Notes

  1. Positive and negative values are allowed.
  2. If this value is not present, the default value is 17.00305.

Description

This value represents the mass added to the C-terminus of a peptide after undergoing peptide bond cleavage by a chemical or enzymatic reagent, in Daltons. The default value is the mass change associated with hydrolytic cleavage in normal water.
